My love and I did meet;
She passed the salley gardens
With little snow-white feet.



當我漫步走入柳樹園
我的摯愛與我在此相見
看著她輕盈地信步走過
雪白的纖足留下足跡片片



She bid me take love easy,
As the leaves grow on the tree;

With her did not agree.

但那時的我是如此無知輕率
